This semi-postal stamp depicts two military figures, one carrying the Moroccan flag, with the Hassan Tower of Rabat visible in the background. The inscription "Œuvres Sociales de l'Armée" ("Social Works of the Army") appears at the bottom. The stamp was issued to raise funds for social welfare programs supporting military personnel and their families during the French Protectorate period.
Following World War II, several countries and territories issued semi-postal stamps to finance social assistance, veterans' support, and welfare programs. In French Morocco, the "Œuvres Sociales de l'Armée" issue was released to support army social welfare initiatives benefiting military personnel and their dependents.
